wucop started as a single text file that kept getting longer. Grocery lists, half-finished thoughts, a command I never remember, the name of a book someone mentioned. Every note app I tried wanted an account, a workspace, a folder structure, and a monthly plan before it would let me write a sentence.
So this is the opposite of that. One page. You open it, you type, it remembers. The text lives in your browser on the device you're using, and that's the whole model. There's no server keeping a copy, because there's nothing to keep it on.
What it's for
Quick things that don't deserve ceremony: a thought before it escapes, a link to paste somewhere else in a minute, the rough shape of an email you'll write properly later. Not a second brain. A napkin.
Who makes it
One person, in the evenings, with no roadmap and no intention of raising money. It does one thing. If it ever stops doing that thing well, that's a bug worth fixing, and not much else needs to change.
